Recoveries & Collections Officer

This job is responsible for managing collections, loss mitigation and liquidation proceedings for the assigned portfolio of classified and non-performing loans. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: OPERATIONS: Review loan contracts and Securities related to assigned portfolio and determine strategies for recovery. | Daily follow up of Loans/Credit Cards as outlined in the 1–89-day guidelines. | Develop proposals for workout, settlement, or foreclosure and make recommendations to the Recoveries & Collections Manager. | Follow-up on recommendations made to ensure timely decision making and pursue courses of action as approved. | Monitor loan repayment and performance of assigned portfolio ensuring that mitigation agreements are complied with. | Prepare relevant monthly/quarterly reports on activities. | Review of all NPL accounts. PROPERTY SALES: Prepare correspondences to send to Lawyers to have property advertised for sale. | Identify dates for auction for one year and advise Lawyers of same. Represent Bank at auction. | Visit property with potential purchasers. | Liaise with Marketing Department to have properties listed on website/Facebook pages. | Manage the sale process which includes but not limited to offers submitted, letters to potential purchasers, customers and Lawyers. | Liaise with lawyers to ensure sale is closed within stipulated timelines. | Updating the Delinquency Management System and the Intranet with properties for sale. GENERAL: Assist as necessary with the training of staff. | Undertake other related assignments for the benefit and development of the Bank. | Maintain current knowledge of all company policies, procedures and services (particularly as these relate to the credit operations of the bank). * Applications must be addressed to the Executive Manager, Human Resources via email [email protected] by Thursday, July 31, 2025. *
