St. George’s, Grenada – August 6, 2026 – Grenada Co-operative Bank Limited is pleased to announce that its CONNEX Automated Teller Machine (ATM) is now live and fully operational at the Maurice Bishop International Airport (MBIA), providing locals and visitors with convenient, secure access to cash.
The ATM location is easily identified by an overhanging CONNEX signage, strategically positioned opposite the bar and eatery area, adjacent to the airport security booth. It has been introduced to enhance accessibility for travelers to and from Grenada, ensuring that cash is readily available whenever it is needed.

The deployment of this ATM comes at a significant time as Grenada welcomes home returning nationals, visitors and members of the diaspora for Spicemas 2026. With increased travel and heightened economic activity during one of the island’s biggest cultural celebration, the ATM provides a convenient banking solution for arriving and departing passengers, staff of the MBIA, as well as people conducting business in and around the airport.

Executive Manager, Operations & Administration, Mr. Floyd Dowden, said the return of this CONNEX ATM to the MBIA reflects the Bank’s ongoing commitment to improving customer convenience through strategic investments in self-service banking solutions. “As the only indigenous commercial bank in Grenada and the Bank of the Diaspora, our goal is to make banking more accessible wherever our customers are, while delivering greater convenience and ensuring that our visitors have reliable access to cash at one of the island’s busiest ports of entry. As we continue to experience increased visitor arrivals during the Spicemas season, we are pleased to support our customers and visitors with a service that is available around the clock”.

It is important to note that cash deposit services are not available at this particular ATM. Additionally, both customers and travelers are reminded to remain vigilant when using the ATM by shielding their pin, being aware of their surroundings, and never sharing their banking credentials with anyone.
